Cashew was found homeless in a park in a box when someone found him and enrolled him at Ventura County Animal Services, and then transferred to Orange County Cavy Haven. There, he interviewed for a spot in Clan Peanut, where he showed excellent teamwork with Peppa and Cookie, becoming the newest member of Guinea Glorious Days.
As the Safety Inspector, Cashew would carefully inspect new food by watching others eat it first and observing for any type of reaction before eating it himself.
On April 8, 2022, he took an early retirement to the Rainbow Bridge Retirement Center, joining Mocha, Peanut, Butter & Peppa.
